In New Brunswick, Conservative Premier Blaine Higgs just launched a vicious campaign to make schools less safe for queer and trans students.¹

Under certain circumstances, Premier Higgs’ hateful anti-trans policy would make it illegal for teachers to use the correct names and pronouns of trans students² – and it’s part of a continent-wide assault by the far right on the human rights of queer and trans people.³

Premier Higgs is facing unprecedented national attention on his hateful anti-trans policy. Now, we have a chance to build on that momentum and make the Conservatives feel the heat. If we can reach voters in swing ridings across New Brunswick that the Conservatives need to stay in power, we can educate them on the Higgs’ hateful anti-trans policy and bring them into our movement. Together we can show Premier Higgs that New Brunswickers are ready to stand up for the rights and safety of trans students.

If we can raise $4,772 this week, we’ll broadcast voice messages right to the phones of 65,000 voters in Conservative ridings. We’ll play a personal recorded message from a trans person, asking them to join our campaign.
