Jason Kenney is allowing coal mining companies to carve up large swaths of the Rocky Mountains to expand the destructive and outdated coal industry.¹²

The Rockies are part of our natural heritage and if we allow the province to sell them off to the highest bidder, it could contaminate the water supply of hundreds of thousands of people in Alberta — including the Kainai First Nation — and destroy the pristine mountains that dot our horizons.³

If we can ramp up the pressure on Kenney's government with a massive petition — while they’re feeling the heat, and facing a massive legal challenge from several First Nations⁴, we could take coal expansion in the Rockies off the table for good.
