News just broke that TransLink is handing over the contact information and travel histories of transit riders to police -- with no warrants. [1]

What’s worse, when police request information on a transit rider, TransLink doesn’t even ask whether the person is the subject of an official police investigation. [2]

It’s a massive privacy violation, but if we act fast we can put an end to it.

Translink hinted that they are open to changing their data sharing policies, and a flood of public pressure could convince them to stop handing out our personal information without police warrants. [3]

Will you sign the petition asking TransLink to protect the privacy of transit riders??
