Help reach millennial climate voters - chip in!
Poll after poll is showing that unlike any other election, the climate crisis is a top issue for voters. And for the first time in history, millennial voters -- the most likely to vote for progressive issues like the climate emergency -- will outnumber baby boomers in the federal election. [1][2]
But we’ve got a problem. Millennials are the least likely demographic to vote -- and this election, many feel disillusioned with the state of our politics, like their “vote doesn’t matter”. Pollsters are saying millennials are “not that excited” about the upcoming election. [3][4]
If we don’t kick into gear and get young voters to the polls, we could throw away this once in a lifetime opportunity to make 2019 a turning point for climate.
We’ve got an ambitious and creative plan to reach hundreds of thousands of young people. If we raise $30,000 by midnight on Sunday, we can plaster digital media platforms most used by millennials -- Facebook, Instagram, and Spotify -- with hard-hitting ads to bring our “Vote for Climate” message directly to young voters. Can you chip in now to help us pull it off?
