For the first time in Canadian history, climate is the top priority during a federal election. That means we have a historic opportunity to make this election a turning point, by challenging parties and candidates to put forward their boldest solutions to the climate crisis, and helping elect “climate champions” who will make a true Green New Deal their top priority in the next Parliament.

Here's the climate reality:

1. According to science and indigenous knowledge, we are running out of time to deal with the climate crisis.
2. If we’re going to tackle the climate crisis, we need bolder, more ambitious action from our political leaders. We need a massive transition to slash emissions -- and we need to make sure that no one gets left behind. That means making sure that as we transition we’re creating green jobs, respecting Indigenous rights, and welcoming climate refugees into our communities - a Green New Deal for Canada.
3. This is going to be the fight of our lives, and our only hope of winning is to build people power on a massive scale. We’re up against billionaire corporations and powerful rightwing politicians. If we’re going to win, it’s going to take a massive movement. To change everything, we need everyone - including you.
