At the end of May, the federal government will release their draft regulations for their long-promised Emissions Cap — a policy that, if done right, could put Canada on track to hit its climate targets.

But here’s the catch: Big Oil has been lobbying hard to water the legislation down — meeting with our elected officials as much as five times a day to that end.

If done right, an cap on emissions would stop Big Oil’s free ride — and it’s a critical step for Canada if we want to live up to our reputation as a leader on climate.

But with the policy due to be released next month, time has never been more critical. By taking action with us on May 25th, you'll be helping us demand that the Liberal government live up to their climate commitments and go all-in on a Bold Emissions Cap.
