For a better, bolder Emissions Cap
The framework for the Liberals’ long-promised Emissions Cap policy just dropped – and it needs a lot of work.
The Leadnow community has spent the last year fighting hard for a bold Emissions Cap. But rather than taking polluters to task for torching the planet, the current Emissions Cap policy reads like Big Oil’s wishlist.
In some way or another, we’ve all paid the price for Big Oil’s pollution – but we deserve so much better. If you think the fossil fuel industry – not everyday people – should foot the bill for the climate crisis, host an action at your local MP's office to tell them to take the Emissions Cap back to the drawing board and deliver the climate action we need.
