Door knock for Climate Champions - Toronto

Saturday Oct 12, 1pm

TO Lounge

1384 Queen St W , Toronto

Hosted by: Tim Ellis

Join us to knock on doors for Paul Taylor, Leadnow's battleground climate champion in Parkdale-High Park!
(see full list of recommended climate champions here: cooperateforclimate.ca).

To join us, just RSVP by putting your information in the sign up box on this page.

Anyone is welcome - you don’t need to be experienced. We'll give you a script, and make sure you feel comfortable before knocking on doors to get out the vote for Paul Taylor.

With historically low voter turnout in Canada, and handfuls of tight races in battleground ridings --   we need to make sure that every voter who cares about the climate votes this election.

Study after study shows that the most effective way to boost voter turnout is having direct conversations with voters -- and together we can easily reach tens of thousands of voters in the tightest races to elect climate champions, if enough of us show up to knock on doors. See you there!

We acknowledge the land we are meeting on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
