Pierre Poilievre has never met a piece of climate legislation he didn’t want to vote against.

You only need to look at his voting record – in his 20 years in Parliament, he voted against measures that would tackle climate change 400 separate times.

Despite trying to distance himself from the Harper days, voting records don’t lie – Poilievre voted lock-step with the Harper government – to turn back environmental regulations, plow through fossil fuel projects and erode the rights of Indigenous people. Given the chance to be Prime Minister, he would continue to double down on fossil fuels, lining the pockets of his Big Oil buddies, all while Canada burns.
