- Runaway wealth inequality in Canada has left gaping holes in our social safety net -- holes that COVID19 exposed, and that our most vulnerable are at risk of falling through. 
- There is massive public support for a wealth tax right now -- 75% of Canadians are in favour.
- A 1% tax on those with a net wealth of over $20 million would raise over $5 billion a year for Canada. 
- Billionaires are becoming richer during the pandemic while everyday Canadians struggle to get by -- and while we pay our fair share in taxes, the wealthy do not. 
- We need a wealth and inheritance tax on the ultra rich in Canada - to close the gap between those who can afford extravagant vacations during COVID19, and those who are struggling to make ends meet.
